If you're experiencing issues such as skipping, lagging, or an error message on your Android TV these steps can help refresh your TV and get you back to streaming. 


  1. Power-cycle your Android TV device.
    • Unplug your Android TV from the wall for 60 seconds. If your TV has a physical power-button, please press and hold it it for 3 seconds while the TV is unplugged. 
  2. Check for available updates:
    • Press the HOME button.
    • Navigate to Settings > Apps > Help > System software update > Software update.
  3. Clear the app cache:
    • Go to Settings > Apps.
    • Find the Vimeo app and select it.
    • Choose both Clear cache and Clear data.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app:
    • In the same menu, select Uninstall.
    • Reinstall the Vimeo app from the Google Play Store.
  5. Try logging in again to see if the issue persists.
